Man says he’s the only Air India aircraft emergency surviving

A senior police officer on Thursday told the National News Agency Ani that one person, a man who was in 11th place on the deceased Air India Flight to London crashed Shortly after taking off in Ahmedabad, he survived the disaster.

Air India later confirmed that he was the “only survivor” of the crash, identified as “British Indian Citizen”.

Ramesh said within a minute after taking off, “There was a feeling that the plane stopped for 5-10 seconds.” He said there was a small open space outside the plane and he could go out.

Gameti said the AP that 186 passenger bodies were taken from the plane to a civil hospital.

The CBS news partner network BBC News spoke to Ramesh’s cousin Ajay Valgi, located in British Valgi, said he had talked to Ramesh on Thursday.

“He just said he was fine, nothing else,” said Valgi.

He said Ramesh had been sitting next to his brother in the flight, but the whereabouts of the brother were unknown.

“I feel absolutely excited,” said Valgi. “He’s not just my cousin, but also one of my best friends.”
