Qatar and Saudi Arabia will hold Asian qualifying playoffs for the 2026 World Cup, confirmed by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

Six teams, third and fourth in the recent third qualifying round, will be divided into two three teams.

They will compete in a centralized format from October 8 to October 14, 2025, according to AFC in a statement on Friday.

The winners of the group will provide two remaining automatic berths in the World Cup.

Young players in each group will play two matches on November 13 and 18, and the winners qualify for the cross -rules, with which they were able to win a place in the World Cup.

Indonesia, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are six teams that still have the opportunity to reach the World Cup final.
