Some fans ask if Cruz (6-0, 3 Kos) has enough experience to challenge the world title after only two years in professionals. Cruz says that his amateur career and the Olympic experience is enough for him to face Muratalla (23-0, 17 KOS).
Cruz’s Promoter, Eddie Hearn, is not sure if it will cause Muratalla, because the highest ranking-promoted fighter could take over voluntary defense before defending against. It will be up to the IBF as fast as the fight happens, but there is a chance that this could take up to a year.
“Apparently I moved very quickly in terms of professional play. I had a very significant amateur pedigree, which allowed me to really develop things,” Andy Cruz said Press conference after combat Last Saturday night in the evening if he believes he was ready to challenge the IBF light title with less than 10 struggles as a professional.
With Cruz’s long amateur career and Olympic experience, it would be meaningless to approach her professional career, which many fighters did not have much amateur experience.
“I fought at the Olympic Games. I also fought at the world championship level. So I feel like I’m completely ready for my next step and whatever comes,” Cruz said. “I always believe I can do a little more inside. So I wouldn’t give up tonight. I would probably say that it was eight,” Andy said in question the question given by the score he gave. “
Muratalla went for nine years and faced the Tew’s farmers and Rain Abdullaeva. He looked good in both fights. It was unknown to how much Muratalla had as an amateur, but it was certain to say that nowhere near the number, the Cruz had. He finished an amateur career with a record of 140-9.
“With every fight you face, it’s a variety of challenges, but I’m ready for any challenges I came to show what I did and show that I’m ready to go to the next level. I think that’s what I did.”
Too bad Andy did not fight a better opponent than Mishir, because he was not a lot of test for him. There are a lot of better candidates in a light department, but their promoters would not be eager to allow them to face a fight as well as talented as Cruz.
For example, it is a little probable top rank enabled 21-year-old Abdullah Mason anywhere near Cruz, because it is not ready for such a fighter, and may not be.
