A training assistant killed when colliding outside the French school


The training assistant is dead after a student is stabbed outside the school in Noga, northeast France, officials said.

The 31-year-old lecturer was stabbed on Tuesday morning outside Francois Dolo High School, when police checked the pupils’ bags, Haute-Marne Prefecture said.

The French media reported that the suspect was detained and Prime Minister Francois Bayrou said the student was 14 years old.

French President Emmanuel Macron said the lecturer was a “meaningless victim of the wave of violence” and stated that “the people are mourning”.

The suspect was unknown to the police and the motive for the attack is still not confirmed, local media reported.
