Amnesty accuses Israel of “genocide” in Gaza

Amnesty International on Thursday accused Israel of “carrying out genocide” against Palestinians in Gaza since the war began last year, saying its new report was a “wake-up call” to the world. The London-based rights group said its findings were based on satellite images documenting the devastation, fieldwork and reports from Gazans, as well as “dehumanizing and genocidal statements by Israeli government and military officials.”
