Deadly Israeli strike on Gaza tent camp kills at least 21

An Israeli strike tore through a tent camp for displaced Palestinians in southern Gaza, killing at least 21. Israel said it was targeting Hamas militants holed up there and that it had taken steps to prevent harm to civilians. The attack took place at a time when the human rights organization Amnesty International published a report on the war in Gaza, in which Israel was accused of genocide.
