KJP defends the Hunter Biden pardon

White House press secretary Karina Jean-Pierre faced the press for the first time since President Biden on Monday pardoned his son Hunter – an outcome that both Biden and Jean-Pierre have repeatedly insisted would not happen.

One reporter asked Jeanne-Pierre if these previous statements denying a pardon “could be considered a lie” to the American people.

“One thing the president believes in is always being true to the American people,” Jeanne-Pierre said, repeating that Biden was “struggling with (the decision).”…Read more
