Netanyahu says strikes respond to threats to Israel’s survival
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a speech on Youtube that the country launched “a targeted military operation that regains Iran’s threat to Israel’s own survival.”
He added that the attacks would continue “as many days needed to remove this threat”.
Israel closed its airspace, waiting for Iran’s revenge.
Israeli Defense Minister Katz, Israel, warned that attacks were welcome.
“After the preventive attack of Israel, Iran, rocket and drone attacks on Israel and its civilians are welcome immediately,” he said in a statement.
