The next day, US President Donald Trump issued an executive to deploy 2000 National Guard troops in LA without California Governor Gavina Newsom’s consent. Trump on Monday ordered 700 sailors and an additional 2000 National Guard forces.
This led to the ongoing struggle between the states and the federal authorities, and Newsom called Trump’s order for “obvious abuse of power” and the mayor’s bass describing as “a deliberate effort to sow chaos”.
On the Federal Side, the Secretary of the Department of Homemade Security (DHS), Kristi, called Los Angeles a “criminal city” and accused local officials of inaction.
Morning: ICE carried out coordinated raids throughout LA, targeting home depots, clothing plants, warehouses and street vendors. At least 44 people were arrested for “immigration violations”. The Department of Home Security (DHS) said they had gang members and criminals.
The raids quickly triggered protests and the demonstrations blocked the federal building of the entrance and output Edward Roybal in the center of LA, where detainees were processed.
Afternoon: David Huerta, President of the International Union (SEIU) of Service, one of the largest and most influential trade unions in the country, was arrested outside the garment warehouse where protesters had gathered against the immigration raid. Huerta was taken to the Metropolitan Detention Center in the center of LA, where protesters gathered in solidarity.
Evening: The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) declared the territory for illegal assembly, placed tear gas, issued tactical warnings and carried out several arrests.
Morning: The next morning, reports of more immigration raids appeared, this time outside the house at the Depo store Paramount, about 26 km (16 miles) southeast of the center of LA, where the day workers often gather, hoping to be recruited for short -term jobs.
There, the protesters collided with security forces, which used tear gas and Flashbang grenades to disperse the crowd.

Evening: President Trump commands at least 2,000 National Guard troops to be deployed in Los Angeles, federly in accordance with Section 10 of the US Code, which allows the Federal Government to mobilize the National Guard units without the consent of the heads of state.
It marked the first time since 1965, when the president has deployed the National Guard troops in the country without the Governor’s request.
Morning: About 300 National Guard troops arrive in the center of LA, Paramount and Neighborhoods in Completons to provide federal places, causing anger and fear among many people.
Thousands of protesters gathered in the center of the LA near the Metropolitan Detention Center so far on the most intense day, where they were greeted by the National Guard troops, which was located to support immigration officials.
Afternoon: The big crowds walk from the Town Hall to the Federal Detention Center. The LAPD again issues dispersion orders and begins the arrest.
Protesters briefly block 101 highway sections, disrupting one of Los Angeles’s busiest highways. Some demonstrators also ignite several self -driving cars, increasing tension even more. In response, the authorities placed tear gas, rubber bullets and flashbang grenades to dispel the crowd.
Morning: After a relatively peaceful night, the fourth day begins with restored ice raids aimed at jobs throughout California, including suburban areas, such as Santa Ana and Paramount.
Thousands of people gather on a big rally in the Grand Park Los Angeles center, organized by SEIU. The demonstration, which was joined by local officials and members of the congress, calls for the end of raids, the immediate release of SEIU Huert and the removal of the National Guard troops from the city. Huerta is later released for $ 50,000.
Afternoon: The state of California submits a lawsuit against President Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Heget, claiming that the placement of the 10th Section of the National Guard’s troops is illegally exceeded by the sovereignty of the country.
Trump double the number of National Guard troops from 2000 to 4,000, while also placing 700 sailors in a local location, not visible in the decades.
Evening: Protests continue around the federal building with a peaceful rally and a mixture of sporadic clashes with the police. The authorities place tear gas and rubber bullets, and hundreds of arrest are reported throughout the day.
The protests came on their fifth day and the demonstrations remain mixed, much peaceful, while others involved vandalism, robbery, rock throwing and the use of crowd control measures.
Newsom and Bass continued to condemn the military presence as illegal and harmful, warning it to tarnish the image of the city, as it is preparing for major events, such as the 2028 Olympics and the World Cup. A Pentagon official estimates that the deployment of sailors and the National Guard troops will cost about $ 134 million to Los Angeles.
Despite the growing criticism, President Donald Trump doubles his decision to place the National Guard and sailors to face protesters in Los Angeles.

Being in a refuge in a city or state does not mean that someone is safe from deportation. ICE can still operate and arrest people in asylum jurisdictions.
The latest protests in LA are part of the civil society and a series of further demonstrations of various groups, which are opposed to immigration and custom execution (ICE) thanks to the detention and deportation of members of the Community.
