After the horrific two -day Manhunt, Vance Boelter, a suspect accused of shooting two Minnesota legislators, was captured and Minnesota legislators, and the governor is recognizing those who help to prosecute him.
Liza Demuta, a home speaker, went on social media to express how happy she was, the suspect was now in custody and the nightmare ended.
“I am grateful that this nightmare has ended with the suspect, so that he can be accused, prosecuted and punished for the horrors he has done to MN. Thank you to local, staff and federal officials who ensured that this evil man was facing justice,” she wrote.

More than 20 agencies worked together to bring the suspect and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz Thanked them for leaving their families, “so that he would be in danger and to give justice to Melissa and Mark Hortman.”

He may have killed Melissa Hortman, a speaker of Minnesota House, and her husband Mark early Saturday morning at their home of Brooklyn Park in Minneapolis, possibly shooting a state Senate John Hofman, including Democrat, and his wife Yvette Yvette in their nearby Shampelin’s home -related attack.
Walz noted that people in the United States had to come together and should not accept violence as the norm.

“As a country we cannot become insensitive to this violence. We are a deeply divided nation. It has become even clearer in the last two days. The way we move forward and solve the problems our people are facing through hatred. It is not through violence.
He also asked members of the public to recognize the pain and sorrow that the Hortman family endured and that they are comforted by the couple.

“Our law enforcement officers: Thank you for your courage, ministry and professionalism. You have saved life,” Walz said in the arrest.
“When singing, we will not be afraid to win,” he said.
Minnesota Minnesota Senior Amy Klombuchara thanked all the law enforcement officers involved in the suspect’s tracking, calling their efforts “mammoth and heroic effort”.
