The Trump’s administration destroyed Britain, Norway, Canada, New Zealand and Australia after five countries imposed sanctions and travel bans-together with other activities, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Israeli Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich.

“These sanctions do not encourage US -led efforts to reach a ceasefire, bring all hostages home and end the war,” said state Secretary Marko Rubio. “We reject any concept of equivalence: Hamas is a terrorist organization that committed inexhaustible atrocities, continues to hold innocent civilians as a hostage and prevents the people of Gaza from living in peace.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar also thanked Rubio for being a “clear voice of moral” and said that a US official’s statement “should be a compass of an international community, all those who preach () to Israel, ignoring reality”.

Sa’ar on Tuesday condemned Britain, Norway, Canada, New Zealand and Australia’s “terrible” actions against Ben-Gvir and Smotrich. Australia and New Zealand also issued a joint announcement of the Israel-Hamas War in December 2024, in which they called for a ceasefire in Gaza and spilled Israel for UN agencies, such as the controversial United Nations Relief and Work Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Middle East (UNWA).
