United Nations Slam in the US and Israel -backed Gaza Relief Group as “failure” | Israeli and Palestinian conflict messages

A representative of the UN says the Gaza Humanitarian Fund does not provide supplies to those in need.

The United Nations says that the Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF) supported by Israel and the United States is a “failure” from the humanitarian side.

Jen Laerke, a representative of the UN Humanitarian Coordination Bureau (OCHA), said help operations have stopped because GHF safely does not deliver to those in need.

“In my opinion, GHF is fair to say that there has been a failure from a principled humanitarian point of view,” Laerke told reporters in Geneva on Friday. “They do not do what a humanitarian operation should do, providing assistance to people where they are in a safe way.”

The UN and the main assistance groups have refused to cooperate with the GHF, referring to concerns that this is a priority for Israeli’s military purposes compared to humanitarian needs.

The newly created private organization began operations on May 26, after Israel had completely stopped supplies in Gaza for more than two months, causing warnings of mass hunger.

It says it has since distributed more than 18 million food.

At least 44 Palestinians were killed in Israel’s attacks on Friday, Al Jazeera said.

Al jazeera tariq Abu Azzoum, reporting from Deir in the center of El-Balah Gaza, said Israeli forces were focused on the parts of Khan Younis in southern Gaza with artillery fire and land attacks.

“Israeli military personnel deepen their land operations,” Azzou said, saying there are clashes in the eastern part of the city.

The inserted area on Friday remained in a communication power supply break. Hamas has condemned what it described as Israel’s decision to cut communication lines in Gaza, calling it a “new aggressive step” in the “war of destruction”.

Israel continues to force civilians what it calls Al-Mawasi’s “safe zone”, a barren coastal band without infrastructure it has repeatedly bombed. The drone strike was killed in a tent on Friday at least two people.

The attack left “All on the ground that are quite confused about where they can go to find security,” Azzou said.

Israel locked the occupied West Bank

On the occupied West Bank, Israel sealed all intersections and checkpoints between Palestinian cities and cities early on Friday, shortly after it launched an air strike wave for purposes.

Sources said al Jazeera that the closure was imposed without prending when they could be canceled.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its ambulance machines are denied access to patients, including those in urgent need of medical care.

Behind the occupied East Jerusalem Israeli forces closed the Al-Aqsa mosque, preventing the Palestinians from attending Friday’s prayers.

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa organized an emergency cabinet meeting in response and activating the crisis committees throughout the West Bank.
