Why has Israel lowered the West Bank because its ball is Iran? | Israeli and Palestinian conflict messages

Israel has placed the occupied West Bank under the lock, sealing the city and village entrances with iron gates and concrete barriers, as its forces are bombarded by Iran.

Israel’s siege continued on the third day on Sunday, as military personnel reinforce surgery in Palestinian territory, where it has killed at least 943 Palestinians, more than 200 of them minors, according to the United Nations since the war in Gaza started on October 7, 2023.

The Palestinians in the West Bank say that Israel’s actions are aimed at annexing their lands and expanding illegal settlements. It is estimated that three million Palestinians live in the West Bank during the Israeli military occupation.

Since January this year, Israeli operations have been underway in three refugee camps in the Jenin and Topper Camps in the West Bank. According to the UN this year, at least 137 Palestinians, including 27 children, have been killed.

But in the last few days, when Israel surprises Iran and the last revenge, the West Bank has been closed.

Here’s what you need to know:

What does Israel do?

Israeli military forces use blocking.

In addition to closing cities and villages, it seriously restricts the Palestinian movement by creating checkpoints, said Nida Ibrahim, al -Jazeera correspondent, limiting the entrance and going to the areas.

According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, military forces have increased their presence in West Coast cities, such as El-Bireh and Ramallah. Strict checkpoints also hinders the movement of the nausea, Hebron, Qalqilya and the Jordan valley, where the checkpoints have disrupted the work of farmers and their production.

“The closing of the ongoing has paralyzed everyday life throughout the West Bank, seriously limiting mobility, limiting access to essential services and influencing economic activity,” Wafa reported.

The Palestinians say that attempts to approach checkpoints have met a live fire from Israeli soldiers in some places, while in others, stunning grenades and tear gases.

There are many reports on injuries. For example, in the refugee camp, the Israeli forces were shot dead in the refugee camp. They have also made night raids on the West Bank, arresting at least 15 people, Wafa reports.

Ambulance cars are trying to achieve the wounded as their movement is also delayed.

“Even when we are granted Israeli military permission to move, we have been detained three to four hours before permission,” said ambulance manager Fayez Abdel Jabbar. “On this (Saturday) morning, one woman stayed three hours in one checkpoint. The only way we can work now is to transfer patients from one ambulance to another at these checkpoints.”

Even before the recent activities of Israel, pregnant women Palestinian women reported that checkpoints could be a “life and death” issue.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers have also expelled dozens of families from their homes in several areas of West Bank and turned them into military positions.

Why is there siege on the west coast?

Palestinians say this is done to control them.

The Israeli government increased the annexation of settlements and the West Bank and occupied East Jerusalem in 2024, according to a report UN Human Rights Office in March this year.

The Israeli poster describes blocking as preventive, saying that the movement will be restricted to further statement. It reads: “The terror only causes death and destruction.”

“The Palestinians say they are attacks,” Ibrahim reported.

Qasim Awwad from the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) settlements said that since October 7, 2023, Israel has increased checkpoints and barriers to the West Bank from 600 to 900. “Now they use this time (war with Iran) to increase Palestinians, turning them into isolated Cantons.

Meanwhile, Israel killed at least 23 people in Gaza on Sunday, including 11, who were waiting for help. Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed 55,297 Palestinians and injured 128,426 others, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.

What about colonist violence?

It continues.

“Colonists continue to attack Palestinian homes and properties,” Al Jazeera Ibrahim reported. “Others use siege to create and expand new illegal settlements for settlements.”

Last Thursday, the Israeli Cabinet ministers and government coalition partners organized a conference in which they undertook to annex the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, according to Israeli media reports.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Communication Minister Schlomo Karhi talked about annexation, while inheritance Minister Amichai Eliyahu also reportedly called the same in Syria and Lebanon.

“Do we want Judea and Samaria (West Bank)? Do we want Syria? Do we want Lebanon? Do we want Gaza?” Eliyahu was reported to scream at the crowd who responded in the affirmative.

Do Iran’s revenge attacks affect the Palestinians?

Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan’s night sky has been illuminated by rocket exchange between Iran and Israel since Friday.

As Israel is trying to shoot Iran’s rockets, some of their remains are descended into the West Bank, where, unlike Israeli people, do not have access to ball shelters or protection. Tens of Palestinian territory have wounded interceptions.

“The Palestinians say they are caught between Iran’s projectiles and Israeli missiles that intercept them,” Ibrahim said.

What does plo do?

“The Palestinian government says it is working to ensure the arrival of food and fuel,” Ibrahim added. “As Israel controls almost all aspects of their lives, the Palestinians are afraid that their government’s ability to help them is seriously restricted.”

Most global attention has been the strike exchange between Israel and Iran in the last few days.

But UN agency Unrwa focused on Palestinian refugees on Friday in a statement that Warzone on the West Bank.

“It is governed by international law enforcement agencies’ action standards and codes of action that Israeli forces are obliged to comply with. Law enforcement authorities exist to protect human rights, not to break them. It should look for the most vulnerable, not further victim.
